Mfathe Picks KCB to beat Quins

In most clubs, the title ‘mfathe’ or ‘dabu’ is given to the oldest or longest serving player, this individual is usually maybe in their mid to late thirties, winding down their career.

Enter Strathmore and the title of ‘mfathe’ belongs to one Wycliffe Kibet Keter, a title he would not have held anywhere else. Once you sit down with the man, it quickly hits you why he deserves that title, from the wisdom he oozes.

He was captain of that Leos side that earned Kenya cup promotion, another reason he deserves the title mfathe. Today you will find Kibet playing at back row on an odd Saturday for the Catulus. Impacting his wisdom on the future generation, I wonder how this wisdom has not hit my previous guest here, Edgar.

Here is how the mfathe thinks this weekend’s matches will play out :

Mwamba +30 over Kenya Sharks
Nondies +20 over Thika
Impala Saracens +60 over Mean Machine
Strathmore +50 over Blakblad
Nakuru +15 over Western Bulls
KCB +3 over Kenya Harlequin
Kabras +10 over Homeboyz RFC

Here I go :

Mwamba +50 over Kenya Sharks
Nondies +30 over Thika
Impala Saracens +25 over Mean Machine
Strathmore +20 over Blakblad
Nakuru +5 over Western Bulls
Quins +7 over KCB
Homeboyz RFC +3 over Kabras.
